Senior Manager/Manager, Corporate Communications


Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely responses are made to all queries and requests from external public.
  • Identify news angles, write and manage the distribution of press releases/stories.
  • Establish network and strong personal contacts with the media to monitor media coverage, in order to obtain maximum positive media coverage, locally and nationally.
  • Organize corporate events (launch of new products, press conferences, meetings, exhibitions).
  • Organize internal events, employee's activities and Corporate Social Responsibilities program.
  • Develop and manage content on the corporate web-site for external public;
  • Write, produce and disseminate information for company-wide information through Intranet.


Requirements
  • Degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations/Advertising or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years working experience with a minimum of 4 years either in print or electronic media industry.
  • Those with experience in construction and property environment would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Possess an establish network and strong personal contacts with the media.
  • Experience in developing and coordinating effective plans for internal and external communications.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
  • Knowledge of desktop softwares such Adobe Photoshop/SwishMax/Dreamweaver MX.
  • Pleasant, dynamic, energetic, goal-oriented and a team player.
