Leasing Manager
Responsibilities
- Responsible for formulating the overall leasing strategy for the shopping mall and the F&B and entertainment boulevard
- Head the Leasing Team in the planning and effective implementation of the leasing plan
- Continuously review the trade and tenant mix to ensure relevancy and good fit with prevailing market condition
- Constantly on the lookout for the latest retail concepts, new brands, products and services
- Budget and target rents and conduct market rental reviews
- Responsible for all the tenancy administrative matters
- Actively conduct market research and aware of competitors' movement
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Finance or any other related disciplines with minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity in the shopping centre or retail industry
- Has strong knowledge and understanding of the retail market and the ability to conduct market research on retail performance, business opportunities and trends
- Possess good contacts and negotiation skills with retailers is a pre-requisite
- Possess in-depth understanding and experience on all tenancy administrative matters, tenancy renewal and legal documentation
- Possess a pleasant disposition, strong presentation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- A good team player, self-driven and highly motivated
