Deputy General Manager/ Senior Manager, Taxation
Responsibilities
- To ensure compliance with tax authorities requirements on on-going submission of tax returns
- To attend to and follow-up on tax audits matters to ensure satisfactory closure
- Liaise with internal departments and external consultants to ensure most tax efficient structure for the Group's activities and transactions
- Update management with latest development and changes to tax regulations, and their implications
- To advise management and operating units promptly on tax implications and tax planning points for on-going and new transactions
- Lead and coordinate with operating units and external consultants to assess GST implications and plan for implementation
- To ensure Group's operations and systems compliance by the deadline to be imposed by authorities
- To undertake ad hoc feasibility study, review of transaction terms and conditions, and other assignments as and when required
- To assist in other corporate and finance assignments as and when required
