Construction Manager
Responsibilities
- Overall responsible for all construction aspects in project. He plays the key role in ensuring the timely delivery of a project that meets or exceeds customers' expectations.
- Ensuring site possession is properly conducted & documented
- Ensuring proper planning, programming, monitoring & driving of construction program for timely delivery
- Reviewing design information, drawings specifications to ensure completeness & buildability; documenting omissions, queries & responses
- Identifying, submitting & obtaining approvals for samples, mock-ups & shop drawings; documenting such submissions & approvals
- Managing & coordinating trade contractors & their activities to ensure conformance to specifications, program & quality requirements; conducting periodic snagging & documenting such snags for rectification & re-inspection
- Managing the site to ensure it is clean, safe & organized
- Maintaining proper project documentation & record keeping in accordance to company's procedures
- Ensuring proper close-out of a project through:- timely submission of O&M/As-Built drawings; timely issuance & rectification of handover defects list; coordination, issuance & rectification of end of DLP defects list
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in ID/Architecture/Building
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project conversant
