IT Manager – Mobile Business
Responsibilities
- Manage the mobile business project team as per MEPS System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ensure the business and technology objectives are met.
- Manage discipline, succession planning and policies within the team.
- Assist the project / product owner, in the technical aspect of gathering of business requirements, solution design and development, project implementation, co-ordinate system integration & UAT testing with QA change control management, review impact of deployment and implementation.
- To train and develop a highly professional work force through providing clear directions, guidance, coaching and positive reinforcement and supported by appropriate reward system and staff career development opportunities.
- To drive, lead and cultivate a service culture environment to the team.
- Work closely with Product Developing team and Business Development team to develop any new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in managing IT Projects
- A minimum of between 3-5 years working experience in SUN Solaris platforms, UNIX scripts, JAVA Programming and Oracle database
- Exposure to mobile banking operations/application development /technology is an added advantage
- Experience in all phases of application development life cycle, with at least 5 years in project team management, preferably managing electronic payment system.
